8.15 am finish – followed by breakfast

The Hull Networking Group is a networking group and, in all honesty, that’s all we’re about.

We don’t do fancy, finger-sized ‘bites’, our breakfast is an all-you-can-eat affair.

We’ve been around for ages, but we’re still full of fresh ideas and enthusiasm.

Sorry, but we’re neither new nor trendy.

We don’t do casual networking either. Our meetings follow a regimented running order with rules…

What we do, do (very well) is to support each other, learn together and pass plenty of genuine business around.

We don’t do socials and we don’t frequent ‘in-places’

like starting and finishing on time and having a strict one-category, one-member policy.

Some people may call that boring and old-fashioned, we call it proven networking methodology

in fact, we’re rather boring and predictable.

We’re rubbish at social media, but that doesn’t matter when we meet face-to-face every week to really get to know each other.

If it ain’t broke, we won’t try and fix it.

Hull Networking Group

We are a business breakfast club. Our members work together and actively help each other with new leads, business opportunities, support and mentoring.

We’re here to benefit the members, not a company, corporation or network we are not managed by any out of town outfit, nor do we have any links to any other group or networking organisation. Nobody receives any payment for running the group.

All surplus funds generated by the group are donated to charity. Thus far we have given away in excess of £20,000 to LOCAL good causes.

Meetings

  • We meet every Thursday morning at The Village Hotel: Henry Boot Way, Priory Way, Hull HU4 7DY.
  • Meetings start promptly at 7 am.
  • Free refreshments are provided throughout the meeting.

A structured meeting format allows us to pass business leads, give testimonials and generally support each other’s businesses. Each week we have an education feature and/or a ten-minute spotlight presentation on an individual members’ business. This is followed by face to face and one to one networking. The meeting finishes at 08:15 followed by breakfast – which is included in the meeting fee.

Fees

From January 2017 Meeting fees for members and visitors are £13 per meeting – Paid monthly by direct debit. There are no other membership dues. Surplus funds are donated to local charity organisations.

Visitors are always welcome

All Visitors pay our normal meeting fee of £13 on the door. This fee includes free refreshments throughout the meeting followed by an all you can eat breakfast after the meeting.

Members Comments

Business to Business

Despite the early start, the great atmosphere and energised nature of the meetings kick-starts my Thursdays – I leave feeling upbeat and ready for the business day ahead.

Trades

Despite being a member for just a few months, I've had a fair number of good sized jobs from the group. I have easily covered the cost of my membership for the next two or three years

Franchises

Although I’ve had plenty of business from group members, it’s not all about them; it’s about their own networks and the people they know outside the group. Friends, family, business contacts, they all get channelled to me via my BCC membership, helping me to grow my business significantly.

Tech Business

As a founder member I’ve received many referrals and had plenty of business from the group over the years. in particular, I received a single referral that produced more than £27k of business as the chain of contacts it produced developed and multiplied!
