Our special guest at this morning’s meeting was Claire Raper who explained how this local charity started and what its aims were. BCC committee member Jane Gough presented Claire with a cheque for £500 from the group.

Bundles of Joy are a specialist baby and family charity who collect and distribute baby and family equipment to families in need within Hull, Beverley, and East Yorkshire. The charity was founded in November 2016 by Claire Raper

Through the generosity and donations we receive from the public, we make up Bundles of Joy of baby and children’s essentials. As a charit, we then distribute them to families in need within the East Riding and Hull area. Our clients are identified by health professionals, children’s centres, nurseries and other agencies ensuring the help is identified exactly where it is needed.

The charity has four trustees – Claire Raper, Heather Barnes, Joy Evison and Petula Blackman.
